2008/2009 Sponsorship Opportunities....
BRUCE LINTON IS RUNNING THE IDITAROD TO RAISE AWARENESS & FUNDS FOR DIABETES. Bruce Linton of Kasilof, Alaska is attempting to complete the 1,150 mile Iditarod Dog Sled Race in Alaska in March, 2009. A Type 1 diabetic for more then 15 years, he is running the race for his own personal dreams, but also to raise money for organizations that support diabetes education, awareness and research. Dedicating several years of his life to get to the starting line of the Iditarod, Bruce wants to show that diabetics do not need to be restricted by their disease. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Diabetes Sports and Wellness Foundation. The remaining proceeds will help support Bruce and his dog team run the 1,150 miles from Anchorage to Nome. SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS for the 2008/2009 Season:

  • Sponsor a Mile: $20 per mile – Help the team get from Anchorage to Nome!

  • Sponsor a Dog: $300 – Pick your dog from the “Meet the Team” section (if not already taken). Receive an individual photograph of your dog and an 8” by 10” framed autographed photograph of Bruce with his Iditarod team. Listed as a sponsor on the No Limits Sled Dog Kennel website, Iditarod.com, and all appropriate Iditarod published material.
  • “Live the Dream” Sponsor: $5000 (for 2) – This is an experience of a lifetime! Spend several days with Bruce and his dog team as he prepares for the Ceremonial Start in Anchorage, Alaska on Saturday March 7 and the Restart in Willow, Alaska on Sunday March 8. Be a part of his inner circle. Go to the Iditarod Banquet on Thursday, March 5 and be a guest at his dinner table. Help him prepare the dogs during the days leading up to the start of Iditarod 2009. Get a coveted musher hander’s armband which will allow you underneath the ropes and into the musher access areas at the Ceremonial Start and the Restart. Be a part of the handler’s team. Help feed the dogs and care for them. Get to know their names and witness the bond that the dogs have with Bruce. Feel the power of the dogs as you help bring them to the starting line. Included in this once-in-a-lifetime experience:
    • Motel room in Anchorage where Bruce and his team will be staying from Wednesday March 4th through Sunday March 8th.
    • Two Iditarod banquet tickets at Bruce’s dinner table on Thursday March 5th.
    • Framed autographed 8” by 10” picture of yourself, Bruce and his dog team.
